Strict Elegance – Strictly bound and beautiful

As a disclaimer, I would like to state that I feel as if I am slightly unqualified to give a totally accurate review of Strict Elegance by Harmony Concepts, as I do not have a bondage fetish. (This would be like me trying to give commentary on a football game, or a strict Christian fundamentalist trying to explain Gnosticism to me) but hopefully I saw this film for what it is and am pay it some justice.

Directed by Chelsea Pfeiffer, Strict Elegance is 80 minutes of pretty girls wearing pretty clothes and writing around as they are tied up in pretty knots. Featuring Andrea Neal and Nikki Steele, plus bonus footage with Eve Miro and Roxanne Hill, Strict Elegance was interesting and visually stimulating, and quite unlike any other adult film I’ve ever seen.

The film switches back and forth between brunette Andrea Neal and platinum blonde Nikki Steele tied up in different rooms, in different positions, wearing different outfits. The filming is grainy, as if Chelsea Pfeiffer used a home camera, and I wonder if this is due to budget, or if she was trying to capture a “home video” atmosphere?

Strict Elegance promptly begins with Andrea Neal hooked up to a curtain rod wearing a red bodice and panties, as well as black heals, stockings and garters. She is tied at her ankles and thighs, with her arms and hands behind her back and rope knotted above and below her breasts. Andrea’s face is bound with a harness ball and gag, and she struggles and groans as if trying to free herself.

Next, wearing nude colored stockings, black strappy heals and a business suite, Nikki Steele is bound to a wooden chair in a messy office. She is gagged with a white scarf, with one foot tied to the chair while the other is bent up and tied to her thigh. Her arms are tied to the chair with elaborate knots around her breasts. Her blouse is open in the next part of the scene, and she pleads with the camera with her eyes, scooting in the chair towards the computer, though she can’t quite make it to the keyboard.

Andrea Neal is then tied spread eagle on a bed, biting down on a cloth gag. She is initially wearing a white skirt, blouse, stockings and heals, though eventually the blouse is pulled up and her breasts are exposed while a blindfold covers her eyes.

Back in the office, Nikki is hogtied on the floor with her arms behind her back in very elaborate knots. Her top is off but she still has her bra. Struggling to free herself, she can just barely reach the knots binding her ankles together. Though she tries to roll onto her back, Nikki Steele just can’t make it.

Dressed in black stockings and heals, as well as a black skirt and red blouse, Andrea is gagged with a red bandana and tied with her arms above her head, knotted also around her breasts, thighs, knees and ankles. As she struggles she shows the thigh above her stockings and her mid-drift above her skirt. The lighting in this scene is very harsh.

Nikki Steele them finds herself in a storage room full of boxes. She is gagged though she is wearing white lace garters and nude colored stockings, her breasts are exposed. Nikki’s arms are tied around her shoulders, hips, legs and ankles.

Back in the living room, Andrea wearing the same outfit as before though her red blouse is missing. Her thighs are tied to her lower legs, keeping her on her knees, with her wrists behind her back and a harness around her beasts keeping her upper arms bound to her back. Andrea’s mouth is covered with red electrical tape, and though she struggles she only manages to kick off her shoes.

Nikki Steal returns to the supply closet, this time bound to a strangely shaped office chair. Topless now, she is tied to the chair by her wrists and knees, her feet tied up by a rope that also harnesses her stomach to the seat of the chair. Nikki also has red electrical tape over her mouth.

The last scene is back in the bedroom where Andrea is tied to a chair wearing a white teddy and a white scarf. One foot is tied to one knee, while the other foot is tied to the chair. Andrea’s arms are tied to the chair at her elbows and wrists. Also wearing white stockings and white healed shoes, she scoots the chair around, losing one shoe in the process.

Strict Elegance features many close-up shots, especially of the knots binding the girls. The knot work is especially impressive, elaborate and never once did it seem to loosen, no matter how hard the girls struggled.

Andrea Neal and Nikki Steele both seem to be pretty good actresses, considering the role they play in Strict Elegance. I could imagine it being hard to be tied up and to flail so much – I know I’d get tired, anxious, annoyed, or perhaps even scared after being tied up for so long, and in such uncomfortable looking positions. (Either that, or they might really really like being tied up like this, which would be fun for them if this is indeed true.)

Harmony Concepts included bonus footage at the end of the main film. This includes Eve Miro and Roxanne Hill tied up and handcuffed while wearing a pink bikini and a black bra and panties.

As a fetish film, I can only guess that Strict Elegance would be arousing. Unless you have a bondage fetish, it only really serves as a novelty or an interesting venture into new territories. It was refreshing, however, to watch and review something I haven’t seen before, and I do appreciate Chelsea Pfeiffer trying to capture the art of an incredibly visually stimulating fetish.
